Presentation

Art in Tanzania’s Physiotherapy volunteer internship program offers students the opportunity to apply knowledge and skills built at university to develop economic conditions, gain hands-on practical experience, and help contribute to real social improvement. We currently support village dispensaries and larger hospitals to conduct physical therapy care for the community; here, you would work alongside local professionals to provide much-needed assistance. In addition, we offer sports physiotherapy at a Football Youth Academy, work with young players to provide much-needed advice and education on physiotherapy, stretching, and recovery, and advocate the teams the importance of good nutrition, hygiene, and other public health issues. Join Art in Tanzania’s community physiotherapy program to empower services for local communities and improve the lives of the local community.

Projects

Physiotherapy

Apply your knowledge and skills to practical situations, engage with patients, and give advice and support; clinical-based physiotherapy takes place in larger hospitals, and smaller dispensaries provide guidance and more simple procedures.

Work with the football youth academy.

Educate young players on physiotherapy, recovery, stretching, and injuries, and advocate the importance of good nutrition, hygiene, and other public health issues.
