Art in Tanzania School Football Tournament
Art in Tanzania School football tournaments are to support the school football programs and to find young talents to be coached the future Tanzanian football stars.

The first tournament was taking place at Kunduchi area at Dar es Salaam between 16 schools. The first winner ended up to be Tegeta High School beating St Patrick School in a scintillating finale.

These tournament are to be conducted twice a year starting on February 2010 until 15th May when the finale is to take place and repeated on 1st July until 13th November 2010. The tournament is to be expanded to take place at Dar es Salaam, Moshi, Arusha and Zanzibar. Both boys and girls teams attending. Art in Tanzania volunteers are to act in the tournaments as organizers and coaches throughout the year as the tournament need lot of preparations. The talented youngster are selected for additional coaching at our football academy.

The sport for schools program also includes HIV theme and we provide health orientated information at the matches. Therefore volunteers who are not so much interested of football and coaching are also needed at the fields at the HIIV- health info stands as well as in the classrooms.

Fund raising. Art in Tanzania has started active fund raising scheme to support the program. We are looking for partners in third country football associations, NGO's and private companies and NGO's. Also private people are welcome to attend and Art in Tanzania is providing everyone donating more than usd 200 a Tanzanian safari at usd 400 less priced than the list price.
